No News: President Barack Obama’s still on vacation, but he’s flying back to Washington Saturday morning, Hawaii time.
Take That!: Obama issued an order tightening up sanctions on North Korea, part of the “proportionate response” to North Korea’s alleged hacking of computer servers at Sony Pictures Entertainment over the release of “The Interview.”

No Drama: The Washington Post reports that, among recent presidents, Obama’s approval rating has held remarkably steady since the honeymoon ended around the end of 2009: It’s most often hovered in the mid-40s. The lack of broad fluctuation – George W. Bush’s ratings, for example, are all over the map by comparison – shows that one constituency hasn't wavered much in its opinion of Obama: Republicans.
